Em,He didn't even have to BUY the ring,it was his grandmother's. I can just see a Royal Wedding down the Registry Office - All those hats and Frockcoats.It will be a very small event. Didn't Princes Anne marry in a Scottish Kirk.Why cant he do the same.It has all of the promise of a Whitehall Farce so far. That's a good one Em-If she can't be Queen,she can be Pearly Queen. He can choose from Cornish register offices too, but there must be one nearer Highgrove? But I think he should get married in Hitchin Register Office where I got married - then they might change the curtains they've had there since whenever - they appear in all the register office photos on the local wedding pages! Princess Anne is coming in by chopper soon to open a new Sue Ryder home, so she could give them a lift. nell

Em - Mrs. Bloggins sounds great - he'd enjoy that - you know - like he enjoyed 'getting to the heart of the REAL people' in that Scottish croft....with his valet...his butler...his....No what am I thinking?....No room for the outside broadcast truck in that road....parking's terrible you know! Helen...As I understand it..those curtains fell to pieces ages ago...So to save money they got the infants at Hitchin Primary to paint them onto a huge piece of card....then they stick it behind the happy couple just for the photos!

The court house is up a kind of alley way (sorry someone will probably correct me there) with 'To let' boards above shops, they will makea nice backdrop to the photo,s. Guess they'll pop back to Mumsies garden for them. Jess x

Does anyone know the rules on someone getting married in a house? We want to look into this for our son. Rose, I love the book The Queen and I. Have read it numerous times and about due another read!
