Just updating myself on that Maxine Carr thread. Interesting that The Mail on Sunday is reviewing a book being published on March 7th by the father of Holly Wells. It's a diary account he kept from the moment they went missing. I haven't read it yet. Coincidence that Carr is in talks to write one too. Rather sick. Oh makes me shudder.

Oh sorry yeah agree, think its very wrong that just anyone get a book published, most don't write them themselves anyway. Didnt read all the threads as there were so many but will get through them eventually I am sure did get to Nell's always very thoughtful is Nell. She wrote something about the publishers paying money to people but only if they knew they could sell the book, sad that so many people are reading anything that is written by people like that and how distastful it is, so often I agree with Nell.

If one is published then there will be an outcry, but a lot of people will buy it just out of morbid curiosity. I can understand the family publishing a book which might help to give them some closure and comfort but Carr having one published, I think is offensive. As you say, she won't be writing it.

I know this is the wrong thread but as you're talking about it I would just like to say that her publishing a book is offensive. I thought there was a law about profiting from crimes. The woman's behaviour at the time was beneath contempt and she will obviously stoop to any level to maintain her notoriety. Evil woman. The family's book is a different matter entirely and, as you say Aileen, may provide some closure for them. I think both families showed exceptional dignity in the face of the most horrific crime and their despair was compounded by that evil woman and her lies. Daisy

Ah Daisy I aint gone to bed LOL As If ??? No agree I thought there was a law about that myself, don't understand why it's not enforced in this case? unless they are waiting for the final publishing, I don't know. It is offensive, I agree. Pat x

Hi Christine Was just going to reply to your thread. Oh you know how I am the guinea pig for my daughters! Well did something naughty. Had a fag. Yes I know I gave it up but now and again.... Hi John Everything okay in your lovely neck of the woods? Don't know if any of you have grandkids. I've got two. One is still a little tiddler the other a smart little cookie.
