Hi Elf The crane answer was that it was a bird so no one would have noticed. We're on the next one which is: When is it more polite to pass or overtake on the inside? Peter has asked if it referred to roads or something else. It refers to something else. Get those grey cells moving. Aileen |

Did I miss the Crane answer? The only thing I thought of was that it was a bird and not the mechanical sort. Lorrainex |

Yes Peter. He turned it into sawdust and could then put it into whatever sized containers he wanted. Simple when you know the answer. Here's another. If you can be bothered. Dave ran halfway into the forest in half an hour. Steve claimed he had gone two thirds of the way into the forest in the same time, but Dave said that it was impossible. Why? Aileen |

Oh Peter you missed the one obvious thing you could do with the wood which would enable you to change it to whatever shape you wanted. Aileen |

No Peter. You have to look past the fact that he HAD a cube of oak and although it was never cut, what could he have done to it to make it change shape? |
