Hi Christine, Yes I am a proud Brummie and our much maligned accent is a distinct advantage when learning Greek(how strange is that?). Lived for a long time in Lichfield where my sons grew up. My only ex-pat concession is my Sunday paper, we live in a very Greek community here and they understand this 'quirk' of mine. Lots of Brits here, but we are spread out all over the Island. We live very close to Old Town which, during an evening stroll, never fails to impress us, it is stunning. I was born in Aston by the way. Pat

*music plays* Ball of confusion - The Temptations Ooh, Chris, it just gets harder. Someone was offering look ups in Worcs 1851. Some of mine moved from there so I asked for a look up. There were quite a few of them. And there was also the Solomon who I know must be linked to my Solomon but I can't make the connection. *sobs into coffee* Gwynne

My tan never fades much during winter so people think I've been on a sunbed or using the fake stuff. Even when I wash once a week it stays put :-))
