Hi all Well, my new determination on Tues was genuine! I only lost 1 lb last week and was gutted but since Tues i have lost a further 4 and a quarter lbs!!! Yippee A word of warning to you all..don't be fooled by supermarket 'diet' foods. i have been carefully looking at cals and fat content on labels and have found that there are more cals and fat in a waitrose perfectly balanced muffin than in a normal yum yum (doughnut type cake) Also found for you chocoholics that a pot of Cadbury's light choc mousse has 77 cals and 1.8gms fat but the 'diet' raspberry mousse i was going to eat had 160 cals and more fat (can't remember exact amount).....I'd rather have the chocolate!!! |

Hi Everyone, hope everyone is not having too bad a week, I know I only lost 1lb last week but I am trying really hard this week so hopefully I will do better this week. As some of you have probably read I have been fortunate enough to never had to diet before, I have always been between 6st 7lbs and 7st 10lbs and god it's not easy is it but I am determined. Off on holiday in 3 weeks and want to get rid of as much as I can before I go.over the last 18 months the tablets I am on have made my weight increase to 9st 9lbs that is 2lb heavier than I was with any of my pregnancies.D. |

my first weigh in and lost ! 2lbs - am trying to stick to eating healthy, drinking more water ( difficult that one) snacking only on fruit and doing more excercise. Failed on the last count as only been on my excercise bike this week. Looking forward to a good week next week - hopefully get through weekend as that is my worst time |

Hi everyone. well done Eileen!!! I am having a really good day today. Very hungry between meals but not giving in with snacking. I had Wendy's breakfast this morning and it was yummy but I was disappointed to find that bran flakes are only 20 cals less than crunchy nut cornflakes. lol |

Sorry folks. Slept in this morning and forgot about weigh in. :( Always like to do it first thing in the morning. Not holding my breath though! Well done to everyone else. Going to make butternut squash and sweet potato soup tomorrow. Haven't tried it before but supposed to be excellent - nutritional wise. Eileen ps.- promise I won't forget next week |

I had bran flakes with a small amount of semi skimmed milk. for lunch 2 slices of nimble toast with half tin of beans. and for dinner very small chop with lots of potatoes and veg. D Well done to Donna and everyone else. Sarah at least we get to stand in the corner together we could even share a raw carrot. I'm so glad I'm not alone. |

1 Multibionta capsule a day is great as well - all your vitamins and minerals and squillions of those little friendly bacteria chappies. |

I think I've found the perfect diet breakfast. Small amount of all bran in a bowl with skimmed milk and add a chopped banana and apple and a few raisins. It really does fill you up and the fibre content means nothing else you eat all day can stick to your insides, lol. |
