Paul from Hampshire, You can set things on MSN so that only those in your contacts can see if you are on line and with the latest version, you can even prevent that. So don't be frightened of what is a good way to communicate with friends and family. Jacky :-)

I think paul may be right about people not realising that they;re in a click. I wouldn't mind being told if i was, then i could put a stop to it rather than upseting others c x

Hi Wendy, I too was thinking of joining MSN, but this has put me off 100%. The trouble is, those sick - yes, sick - people spoil it for the genuine ones, so that you never know who you can trust. Even though I'm fairly careful on the boards now, I'm going to be more cautious in the future. Although this news was shocking to me, it needed to be said. Thanks for putting the thread on. x

re: black lists - I think we all have little mental lists of people that we don't really see eye to eye with or don't like/trust. Sometimes we're proven wrong in time, sometimes not. However, what I will say is that noone else tells me who I should talk to, I make my own mind up thanks very much.

I understand what your saying Wendy but I am glad to say not everyone is like that there is some nice people on this site, and me I talk to anyone

I endorse what Paul Chunky says me and him had a fall out but I think we have both put that in the past now,though we are not on msn we interact on here quite well now,Im glad to say apart from his football team lol! Dave ps Gwynne my sense of humour is not warped lol!

All Well I'm amazed! I often read the threads on here but don't often contribute as like others, I feel quite an outsider. I must be really thick as I haven't a clue who these trouble causers are and am finding it hard to believe that this actually goes on. I have always preferred the tips board and records board personally and am glad I do if that's the type of people you are dealing with on this board. Debby

One lesson I have learned is not to say anything about another person on msn that I would not say in front of them.

Which is quite sensible Wendy. To be honest I've been dragged into it in the past, and I think most who chat 'off board' have discussed other member at some point, either in a good or bad light (I've done both - it's human nature - 'did you see what that daft so and so said ?'), but no more - I've removed people from MSN for being too negative/stirring. I'm certainly not involved in any whispering campaigns though, as I said to someone only a couple of days ago - I take people as I find them.

I've been warned before I was allowed to rejoin about doing something like that Dave. Personally i would like to but my membership is worth more to me than that.
