Can you speak up a bit I can't hear you for gurgling.Aparently he got the tapeworm when he was in the army.It was a pork worm and probably from some pig the army had purloined to feed the troops.As if you cared. Must get this tea sorted.Be back in a mo. |

Dunno.It just said in the book that he passed it.Don't think that meant it was going very slowly and he overtook it but I am not medically qualified in any way. Just made a pot of tea.If you want one you will have to pour it out yourself because I'm busy on here. I put a loaf in the machine for the morning while I was up too. |

I remember reading about a man who had some kind of burrowing worm burrowing in his scalp.The hospital stuck a rasher over it to entice it out.Could imagine the poor man going about his daily life with the rasher attached and having to explain to people that it was for medical reasons.Yeh right. |

Mandy you can get tapeworms to go right through, but you can get the very long ones that get so big they end up coming back up out the mouth, yuck.......I learnt all this in Nursing but luckily never had to nurse anyone with a tapeworm, I am not saying any more about that its enough to put me off my Guinness lol.
