I don't usually read postings from people with the name 'PINK' in them. Paul's brief change of name is an exception. I came to this after reading Paul's thread on the subject. Nothing against any of you, but pink is not my favourite colour, and as a relative newbie, I don't know the significance of 'Pink Sahara' . I have not ever complained to GR and cannot think that I would, certainly not without saying that I would. My father was one of 14. 4 died in infancy. 1 was run over by a horse and cart when he was 9 1 died of Parkinsons 7 including dad, died of Cancer. 1 still alive. I appreciate any one who helps cancer relief/research. THANK YOU David |

Dianna, I have only just come onto the boards. I am horrified that anyone can be so mean spirited as to complain about your threads. You have done so much to help a good cause and to inspire others also to do good. I personally cannot see what is wrong in using the General Board for fund raising. If people don't want to contribute they do not have to. I also feel that if people complain to GR and threads are removed the authors of those threads should be entitled to know the name of the complainant. Why anyone should complain about a thank you thread is beyond me. Keep on with the training and all the good work Pink Saharas and thank you Dianna for all your endeavours. Hope you'll be feeling back in the pink soon. Rosemary(Essex) |

Diana, What a spiteful thing to do,I hope these people realise that they are not just getting at you, by doing what they have done it could put you off fundraising, and that affects masses of people, I know you wouldn't stop because of this you are above these pathetic people, and I would just like to say to whoever did this, having lost loved one's through this awful disease no one knows what is round the corner,I am also very disappointed in GR, who would accept such a ridiculous request.Honestly it is a bitter twisted and a sick thing to do. Keep at it Diana this world needs people like you. you are polite and dedicated to what you do, People like you are very special. Denise. (((hugs))) |

The people who complained have obviously never had their lives touched by cancer, among family or friends. Lucky them. Speaking for the rest of us, THANK YOU Pink, the world is a better place for people like you. Carole |

Diana what can I say that has not already been said, I am disgusted that a member of GR could stoop so low, only hope this person is never in a position where they too need help. You are doing a marvellous job in your efforts to raise money for charity, you deserve a medal for all the time and energy you put into it. I like the majority on this board want to say a BIG thank you to you. Please keep your chin up, Elizabeth |
