and thanking people publicly for their hard work, support and generosity, as I am being accused of FUNDRAISING when I do so.... so therefore I am not allowed to put them up anymore...... GOBSMACKED? You bet I am!! Please try and remember that I have a life outside of The Pink Fund, so I don't do it 24/7!! And apologies to all of you I will no longer be able to thank on these boards.... You know who you are! UPDATED - GR emailed me this morning naming the threads I needed to remove due to complaints recieved about them being FUNDRAISING threads.... 2 of the 3 threads named were THANK YOU ones to Gem & wakefield attendees and Westgate Common Club for the £1700 they raised between them!!

Pink, It should be you who gets the thanks and apologies... I suppose some people have nothing better to do than complain, lets hope that the moaners never need help from the charity you have worked so hard to fundraise for! Debs x

I cant believe that some people could be so sad and have nothing better to do than complain about innocent threads,which raise peoples awareness of a terrible disease,and which dont cause any trouble to anyone,but they are happy to sit back and watch when threads that cause trouble and hurt people are allowed to remain for days. In my eyes Cancer Research needs as much attention as it can get. Keep doing what youre doing Diana,I think youre an amazing person! I do find this bewildering and can only assume that it's been done out of spite, otherwise what good reason can there be for complaining about it.

I think we need to know the full story here, I am amazed at the immaturity of so many people now using this board, tell us exactly what happened and we may be able to do a block petition xxhugxx to the most unselfish person I have the pleasure of knowing.

Hi Pink, there certainly seems to be some petty minded people around at the minute, like others have said its disgusting.

Oh Pink its bad enough this has happened before but here we go again.Gobsmacked here too, I am also totally disgusted that we have even more people on here that would do such a thing. I wish they would go and get a life, pity they wouldn't show themselves so ALL the people here could see who they are, that would change the look of the general board I reckon. Pink after all you and others have done for this worthy charity I am truly sorry that you have been subjected to this yet again.There are more people reading these boards who think what you and others have done is wonderful and want to thank you then there is the begrudgers who just need to sit and think about the nasty things they do. It makes the blood boil! Why on earth would any decent person complain about a thread that thanks someone for doing a fantastic job. Well honey don't let the b******'s grind you down. Next thing we know the Gaynor Bear relay thread will be deleted, then the Pink Sahara threads, where will it all end? Sorry to go on but it does make me mad. Love ya to bits hun. Sorry, I meant to add - I would like to publicly thank all the people of Nova Scotia, Canada. Who are always so generous when myself and others knock on their door and ask them to make a donation to various charities, inclusive of the Canadian Cancer Society. Love to all GR members from all over the world, who donate time and money to charity. Patty

I am gobsmacked that someone felt they had to complain. I for one (and loads of others) think you are doing a fantastic job Pink whether by fundraisning or raising awareness of this horrible disease. And the fact you thank others shows what a generous person you are. For the person(or persons) that have complained well shame on you...all monies raised go to the cancer charity and hopefully one day a cure will be found but without donations etc the charity will find it hard to carry out their research so the more money they get good!! I am still finding it hard to undersatnd why there has been a complaint but Pink please carry on as you are. Sue xx
