when you look at the upbringing that he had it is hardly suprising that he came out of it a little scarred, but i didnt at the beginning and i still dont think he is guilty of any of the charges brought against him. yes he is a little weird but that is what comes of an adult man trying to re live the childhood that he was so cruelly denied by his abusive father. the only person who really knows what goes on in his head is himself and if he has ever done anything wrong he is the one that is going to have to live with it for the rest of his life. we live our lives by the law and most of the time it is right and true but just because it doesnt go the way we sometimes think it should doesnt mean its wrong. some people will do and say anything for money but happily there are few of us in this world who would involve our children and make them lie just so we can get a few quid out of it. in my opinion the only mistake that michael jackson made was to pay jordy chandler out of court because not only did it look like he was trying to hide something but it also gave others the idea to try and get some money out of him. i hope he can now put this behind him and get on with the rest of his life but i have a funny feeling that he wont be allowed to.

Lets not forget when these allegations were made..Directly after the uncle of the Chandler boy had his privacy enjunction and he wrote about how much they got and how easy it was..That to me at start was a sign of a wicked lady and if it comes to light that it was all her doing then give her all she gets..I believe myself that he has had no childhood and has never grown up... As for the porn in room...Non of it was bad enough for him to be charged, so lets not listen to to much media stuff as all they want is to sell papers.. If anyone ever went near my kids i would do time for what i did to them...But this guy i am sure he just needs help..

It is easy for us to judge from here a top lawyer in America says there was that little evidence that if it was a non celebrity it wouldnt have got to court it was so thin. The main prosecution witness clicked her fingers at the jurors and is a known exortionist with a criminal record.,they just took him to court to try to get money out of him and was hoping he paid like he did with Jordy Chandler.Jackson if he had took that to court would have won that as well. Well well what do you know!! One of the jurors has a relative who works for MJ's doctor and another juror visited 'Neverland' as a small boy!!! Small world don't you think or is it me being cynical! Bev x

Abuse stories aside... can some one please tell me why he is allowed to keep his own kids????? If you or I pulled that insane stunt and dangled one of our kids out of a window, social services would be round SO fast our feet wouldn't touch the ground.

I do have concerns about his ability to be responsible for his children, as a lot of people have said he never grew up, and is childlike, well you wouldn't trust a child to be fully responsible for another child, would you?,he no dout do love his children, but that do not mean he is a responsible enough parent to be in full charge of his children. Shirley.

I have belived he was never guilty of physical abuse,,,but he has abused their sexuallty,,,in that he was swaying these children ;to belive it is accetpable to be in the same bed as an male adult;; these children could have fallen prey to other's with a more sinister motive,,,,,beliving all were another MJ,,,,, kay,

I agree with you Barbara and isnt it also abuse when he makes his children wear veils over their faces?? It is not like it is a religious belief or anything! Bev x

PolperroPrincess Report 14 Jun 2005 08:09

He will definately think that he is invincible and above the law now! Wont be long before it happens again! I have read all the other comments and am sorry to say that I still think he is guilty! The problem is in cases of child abuse there is not always tangible proof! So it usually ends up the word of the accuser against the perpetrator!! Just a case of who do you believe!! Once again I feel that the jury were swayed more because of who Jackson is!! He has been in the media for so many years that people feel that they 'know' him... as they did in the OJ Simpson farce!! Just my opinion!! Bev x

Hi, This seems to be the only MJ thread I haven't added to. Being found Not Guilty does not mean he is innocent. OJ was found Not Guilty as well. I didn't believe that either. I hope the US version of Social Service makes sure he never has access to young boys again. Gwynne

Let us all hope that in the future Jackson will have the sense not to do this again, im sure there are enough bedrooms at Neverland that his guests can use. The one thing to come out of all this is it has highlighted the fact that a man in his 40s is sleeping with young boys, being inoccently or not, it is not exceptable, and hopefully it will deter him from doing it again. Who knows . I have to say as much i am not a fan of Jackson, i would not wish him to be harmed, as i do not believe that serves any puppose at all. Shirley.

The families of these boys knew that their children were sleeping in Michael Jacksons room, and never questioned any ill-doing.... not until Michael stopped funding them... then the accusations started. If anyone has been following ALL the trials and accusations... they would realise that the accusers just used him. Anne :)))

Maybe not Pat, I know he has been a little naive and stupid, but I think the way he has been treated all his life is disgraceful. Well done for not smoking girl... why don't you air your views about how you feel on the Smokers thread... you will be most welcome. Anne :)))
