I was born in Newport Pagnell, which is adjoining Milton Keynes... I grew up in Milton Keynes, and still live here now...

Born Epsom General in Epsom LOL Raised in Worcester Park, moved to Malden Manor briefly. Before going back to Worcester Park. Am now in WallyTown oooppss meant Wallington it's only Wally Town when the old man is home pmsl Can't believe how many peeps come from my neck of the woods

I was born in East London, moved to Takeley and then Bishops Stortford where I stayed until I married. (note to Malc (gentle giant) - lived 5 minutes from 'Haymeads Hospital' later known as 'Herts and Essex Hospital' where both of my parents worked for some years) Then Dorset, North Yorkshire and now Suffolk.

I was born in North Manchester. (Dave B. I went to school in Longsight - St Joseph's Convent on Laindon Road). I have lived in Heywood and Stockport and now live in Cognito (only joking)! (Janice, I have lived in Sale Moor since 1988). Lyn

Born in Gibralter then moved all around and ended up in Colchester, were you an army kid by any chance like me.

I was born in Manzini, Swaziland and I bet you can't guess where I live now?! My Dad was born in Colchester though, I'll have to ask him if he knows where. Helenxx

Susie, I used to live in Lubbecke which was in between Osnabruck and Minden do you know if they have still got any army bases there?

Hi Ed, Not in Lubbecke they haven't!! Munster only has 2 camps now instead of the 5 it used to have and Osnabruck still has it's camps....Paderborn has camps and lots of the barracks here basically have been returned to the stadt's and used as office's, flats etc...now, just shows how we as the British army are slowly but surely pulling out of Germany!! Great thread... Born in Mona Taylor Hospital in Morpeth. Taken home to Cramlington where I lived on and off for some 27 years. Also lived in Tamworth, Staffs, Salford (only for a few months) and no prizes for guessing where for the last ten years. Mx

Susie, I live in south east France just south of Lyon, in a small town called Vienne, but in 10 days time we're moving to Normandy because my husband is being relocated. I'll no longer be amongst the vineyards but amongst the apple trees! OMG 10 days! Must go and pack some boxes. Helenxx

Susie. Thanks for the info, there is a massive development of the Garrison in Colchester it is costing about 2billion pounds they are virtually moving the whole garrison out of town and on to a new site, so the future for the army in Colchester looks ok.

Lynn dont think so she is 80 now lol, but I know she went to that school wherever it was then somewhere off Plymouth Grove I think, I used to live in Flats now pulled down Greenwood House on same side as dog track but nearer North Rd. Dave

I was born in Norwich, Norfolk and have lived here most of my life. When I was 20 I lived near Chichester for a few months, then back to Norwich and on to Cambridge for around 18 months, a few weeks in Malta and that's it.
