Teresa In Canada

Teresa In Canada Report 24 Jun 2005 18:33

I need your support guys. My husband Bob has just come home from the doctors and we have just found out that he has Leukemia. It was found after routine blood tests for a physical he had a couple of weeks ago. Apparently it is a slow form of Leukemia, I don't know what type and hubby can't remember. We now have to wait for a Drs appointment at the cancer centre to see what happens next. We will tell the kids tonight, that will be hard even though they are all adults. Bob is 53 and even though the doctor said that he has patients that have lived with this for 15 years with this it is not long enough for me. Please say a prayer for us today. Teresa in Calgary, Canada UPDATE: Appointment is booked for July 20 but have been put on the list for a sooner appointment if there is a cancellation. Thanks for your prayers and messages.
