Yes Ann your probably right. Gaynor was a good friend to many of us and family to Clare and Jack on this site. A Meet was being organised, then Gaynor had the news she had cancer. To cut a long sad story short, it was decided the Meet would be held as close as possible to Gaynor as her treatment started and we didnt want her having to travel far. The Meet was wonderful, we all enjoyed it and a day Gaynor wouldnt forget. For many, this was the first time they had met Gaynor in person and were to go on to be a real support for her. It was Gaynor who wanted a 'Doo' one year on, she knew she wouldnt be able to attend herself, but loved the idea of us getting together. Gaynor sadly died in April. But!! As was her wish, the 'Doo' is set for Sat 16th Oct 05 at the same time 1pm, same place: The Lambert Arms Lewknor Oxon Anyone wishing to attend, please email me and i will give any info you might need. HI Donna, I can't join you so I hope you don't mind my making a suggestion. If you are looking for a change of venue, have you thought of Thame? There are some nice pubs there & I could ask my daughter about them if you like. Vivienne

Lewknor is near junction 6 on the M40. Thame is on the A418 between junctions7/8 on the M40 & Aylesbury. I don't know anything about trains I'm afraid but looking at the map there is a station not far away. There would definitely be buses from Aylesbury or Princess Risborough though. I'm going to bed now but will look this thread up when I get home from work tomorrow. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Night Night Vivienne
