It's a bit of a wrench but it seems that Hatpin has left home for good now. He's often gone walkabout before but left messages etc, but not this time. I've waited in hope but have now got to accept the reality of the situation. Counselling just wouldn't be appropriate somehow, after all I get the feeling he is happier now than he's ever been in his life. You give a friend everything but sometimes it can't quite be enough and one has to accept that. I've been scratching around and have put together some of Hatpin's bits and pieces. Perhaps some of them could come in handy in days to come and they are not the sort of things that one can easily get in the shops. I've mailed them to PO BOX 47857499HPN in Perry Barr where they can be collected if you give the password 'BACKWARDS NOMEL'.

You have done the right thing, Mike, Hatpin has gone to a good home and now that you have forwrded his grooming aids, deodorants, etc, he will be much happier. I am sure Lemon will allow you to visit on special occasions:-) BC just noticed to said you were 'scratching around'?????

Hi folks, am not sticking round for long....me and Hatpin are going swimming, and he is so excited. Just wanted to thank you Mike for trusting me to look after him, you can visit him anytime, if ever you are at a meet, and I manage to get there I will bring Hatpin with me.....as if I could get away without him. Will pick up his things at PO box, thanks for that....he said he had a tiny little blue teddy bear which he loved...would you mind looking for it and including in parcel ...thanks. Hi BC, sorry about Hatpins little accident last night...it only happens if he is excited or nervous....and it only happened to you, as he wanted to cuddle in to hi Granny. Well must go and get a shower, and pack our stuff for swimming....at least Hatpin wont P in the pool as I managed to get some dolly swimming nappys for him, like babies wear, er scuse a minute 'Ok Ok Hatpin I'm coming, have patience, and stop kicking the skirting boards....if you are going to throw a tantrum ,I will leave you here' best go, he is a little devil>
