Hi Everyone, No real news on Josh. He's still opening his eyes and moving around, but casn't spoken or tried to make contact with anyone.... his parents have been informed that he's going to need caring for, for the rest of his life. But we're still all hoping against all odds that he's going to talk to us one day. Thank you all for your support that you've shown me and his family.....it has meant a lot to us all Luv c x |

Sunshine, every wee improvement is a big step.I went through this with my son when he was only five.I honestly found that giving him massages (sp?) and keeping lavander by him helped. It sounds as though his wee body is just taking it's time to mend.I will be thinking of you all. Elizabeth. |

Hello Clare, I've been out of action for a while and have only just got around to reading the boards. Your update on Josh pleasantly surprised me. My goodness, he must be a 'toughin' all right! Can't imagine how you all must be feeling by now - exhausted I expect. Well, don't know what else to say except that I will continue praying for you all. Love xxxx |

Hi everyone We've had a little progress with Josh over the last 2 months. He's got his eyes open and is moving around. 3 days after Christmas Josh was taken down to Surrey to start his rehab and within 2 hours of arriving there, he managed something that his parents never thought they would see. Josh is still very poorly and has suffered a great amount of brain damage, the people at the rehab clinic are expecting good things to come. The poor lamb will never fully recover and will need looking after for the rest of his life, but he seems happy. He laffs at the telly and squeezes and pulls Darren's nose when we visit. Thank you all once again for all of your support since the accident.....it has meant a lot to us all. Luv c x |

Good news that young Josh is in rehab. and hope his progress will continue to help him back as far as possible to the Josh he was. So sad that just one moment in time can change so much in someone's life, so I am wishing his parents and family lots of strength to cope with all they have to in the future, and to commend them on coping so far. We all have such hopes and dreams for our kids and a tragic accident such as Josh had, must have devastated his whole family. We should all try to drive just a little more carefully to save others from going through these tragedies. |
