How worrying for you, you seem to have a lot to deal with . If you have a reasonably up to date photo of your mum, try taking it to your local paper and ask them if they can help, they just might. i do hope you find her soon. please phone the police as she is very vulnerable, they can not ignore that. Im so sorry for you and your dad, I know what it is like for you, as my mum was also an alcoholic. Sometimes she would just disappear and go and stay with relatives at the other end of the country, we would be out of our minds with worry. Im sure that she will turn up safe and well. She probably has no idea what you are going through. My thoughts are with you |

Diana, I am hoping that by the time you read this, your Mum has been found. You really must call your local Police, and report her missing. Has she taken any money with her, does she have access to cash? Has she taken clothes, did she say she was leaving in a fit of temper and leave? Have you rang the local hospitals. Anything could have happened. These are all questions your local police will ask. Thinking of you Diana, you know where I am. Love Jenny xx |

She has been found but currently in hospital and I am waiting for a call to find out what is wrong with her.... I understand that she fell badly on Sat and its the result of the drink! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT - And my knight in shining armour..... my family say a HUGE thank you!! |

Good, excellent news. Given that she fell on saturday and today is wednesday - and presumably the hospital hadn't been able to contact family .....There must have been some social services involvement ,i would have thought since she has been in there. Can you contact them? keep them on your side - explain she goes off and the problems that and the aclohol cause- they must be able to help at least she is safe, and reasonably well. is she in hospital anywhere near where she should be?
