I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2. I seem to remember seeing it top some best song ever poll, and couldn't believe it. It's just well.... dull for want of a better word, IMHO.

Hi David, Although the performance could never be over-rated, Whitney Houston's 'I will always love you' had to be one of the most overplayed singles ever. Meanwhile in my corner of the world, someone has to wake Green Day up and tell them that September has ended - enough already! Patty x

Daisy - Yes yes yes lol- Imagine is soooooooooo over rated and dull as ditchwater but I'm not very keen on the Beatles singly or together. Jacqui & the rest of the anti Elvis crowd. Stop being silly. He was beautiful and had a perfect voice. I can't accept Come on Eileen either. Lol Patty I love Green Day but that song is being played too much here as well and is starting to irritate me now:) Linda love:) I was going to say something witty about you and Mull of Kintyre but I can't stop laughing;) SAD!

''All you need is love.'' .............wouldn't it be strange if we all liked / disliked the same songs/singers? :-) Joy PS Elvis Presley is my no 1 hero Freddie Mercury is my no 2 hero I do tribute threads for anyone who would like them, ie Marc Bolan especially for Ruby Tuesday.

Diana I liked Brimful of Asha *blush* Budgie I didn't say I hated Elvis but I do think he was over-rated. You're right - I probably would think differently if I had been around in the 50's - I can see what the excitement was. If I had a choice of decade I could have been a teenager though it would have been the sixties not the fifties. Debby

Andy I agree with you - U2 stuff leaves me cold. Also cannot stand Level 42. Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all liked the same things though?! Maz. XX

Ere Sandra - didn't Brotherhood of Man do Save all your kisses for me? Serious question now seeing as Sandra's mentioned Bucks Fizz. Has anyone heard their recording of Heart of Stone made before Cher's version? Honestly it's better.

David, Sorry to be so late replying. Bohemian Rhapsody is about the Devil in a sideboard. Everybody knows that. The most over-rated/overplayed single has got to be Mull of Kintyre by Paul McCartney & Wings. CB >|<
