Dear guys, I cannot thank you enough for your support. I cant understand why dad would wait til I had left. I told him I would be back very soon. I am just so grateful my husband was there (and he thought of dad as the father he never had) and held him in his arms telling him he would be reunited with mum until he went. I dont know how I will cope over the next few weeks and months. But I am grateful I had a father of whom I was so very proud for every fine principle he upheld, his honesty,his integrity, his kindness. I am blessed by his love. |

Hello Heather, what sad news, I am so sorry, please stay strong, and count the times that he made you laugh, he is at peace now. I promise he will always be with you. heather so sad that your dad passed away....sounds a bit like what we were going through 4 weeks ago ...use to tell fil if we had all the money in the world id love to try and make him well again......but it was not to be will be thinking of you all ann xx |

Hi Heather, can only repeat what others have said. It's a very hard time and there is no option but to go through it. The one hugh consolation is that he was obviously a wonderful father and you will have many happy moments to remember and smile about in time. For now, it's ok to be sad. |
