Gwynne, I'm sure you'll be nicking the crown back from Rick soon enough. Meanwhile this is one for the boys! Hope you enjoyed the quiz you went to last night. :) Andy |

Rick, Don't know if you're still up, but do you have a copy of Police & Thieves by Junior Murvin? I know you're keen on reggae. :) |

BTW Even though The Beatles version is probably the best-known, 'Money' was first put out by US R&B singer Barrett Strong on the newly-established Motown label in 1959. The Flying Lizards did the one in 1979 with the posh bird on it. CB >|< |

Anna, wet flannel much appreciated. Rick, cheers. Shane MacGowan sings as part of a sort of 'hoh-down' on a cover of Bob Dylan's 'Death Is Not The End', where Nick, PJ Harvey, Kylie, Shane plus others take turns to sing. Sheila may correct me on this if I've got that wrong lol |

That was fun Andy - looking forward to the next one. I'll have to start work on my 80s one soon, time permitting. I never realised Shane McGowan was on Murder Ballads and I've been singing Can't Explain wrong for ever. Rick. |
