No, but in true GR style I have been finding rafts of rellies on the census and updating my records. I've also found my elusive gt gt gt grandparents' deaths and ordered the certs. Their surname was Mealing, but one is in the index as Mellins and the other as Mealins! nell |

I didn't - I did a CP fundraiser instead. But I am meeting my distant cousin (who I found through GR) and his family tomorrow. We've met before and get on really well, so we're up to London tomorrow! Jan |

I was not able to go. And there were so many people there whose hand I did so wish to shake. I hope they all had a good time, for such occasions do make the bonds that we have forged on our screens all the much stronger. I hope there will be another such occasion, for I will make greater an effort next time. K |

I wasn't able to go as I am 'confined to barracks' at the present time. I would love to be able to put faces to all the familiar names I see on here. Perhaps in the not too distant future I may be able to meet some of the lovely people on these boards. Here's hoping. |

So many of us would have loved to have been there. Perhaps there be a kinship greater than some may realize. I for one do look forward to the photos. Perhaps, at this time of year, we may all look upon them with the feeling of ............. well..... maybe you know what I mean....! |
