Vonny Sorry - On second thoughts it probably wouldnt help you - as you are looking for words, any words, not the actual meaning. Der!!!!!!! My apologies. Well how about that - morse code being faster than texting on a mobile!!! We havent progressed have we? Maybe we better learn morse code (I did know it once at Gel Guides many years ago) Even knew my whistles too :-(( Not an easter egg in sight here, maybe I should go to the shops and get some half price ones. Wots that you say - no??? - well, I'll just look then, and drool. Wonder where Laurie is?? Jood

Morning Wattlers and a superb day it is in the Central Tablelands. Showers are forecast (which is a good thing), then 2 days of rain, but as I look over Mudgee Valley this morning, the view is wonderful. Had friends over for dinner last night and we had fun. They live 2 blocks up from us and we had a ball. They brought their blue heeler puppy, Ubu, with them and she gave our collie Jack a run for his money. She's actually deaf, so they have to train her with sign language! New baby Ruby comes home from hospital today and I have promised mum that we will give her the week to settle in before we all bombard her. Off to work (but not for long, hee heee) Have a great day, Lew Lew xxx

Goodmorning wattlers, I'm still around - just had an almost puter free weekend . . . A glorious day here on Botany Bay, just a small, light swirl of white cloud on the horizon to make the sun filtering through it look bewdiful. There is a ship coming round the north head and two tugs on their way out to greet her, I guess she will soon make some work for at least one of the three giraffes that have their head in the sky. The beachcomber tractor is out there doing his daily job, raking up the beach - the council do a great job in keeping the area clean, the tractor is out every day as are the cleaners picking up the mess the grubs leave behind. We had a lovely relaxing Easter long weekend, hope you all had the same. Ray started to fuss at one point and I just asked him, do you want stress free or the alternative - so he got the message and went back to veging out! Lara, did you find Mikes stash of chockies ??? I can't believe we had an almost chock free Easter - 1 small cherry ripe between us. Boxed chocs all still unopened. Haven't even touch the Praline Flakes I brought home from England for Rebs. Gwenda, do you get to have a belated weekend seeing as how you worked ??? Trifley I want a grandchild too - but not holding my breath, I think I will just have to spoil my friends grandchildren for a few more years - our fault - we brought the boys up with travel tickets and packed bags and swags. Though Glen is starting to look settled so one can live with hope! Joodles, hope Jann is on the mend and glad you got those grandma cuddles - where's my pici ??? Tassie Sue, Hope you have had a wonderful time on the mainland, . . . and you go for it - make Nans 90th something special! I have wonderful memories of my Dads 90th, we made it BIG! He actually planned it with us for a long time beforehand, he hired the hall and paid for the food and drinks - but we suprised him with the cake that the lady jumps out of - as I look at the photos now, I just love to revisit the look on his face. He had such a wonderful day with 150 family and friends and he was the king of the castle! Tony I too have had some great progress with the WA site you gave us - found a whole new family branch I didn't know existed. Von your balloon watching sounds wonderful, we went to a big meet out at Condoblin one year - the excitement was contagious! Seen a few over Burley Griffin too - but not the numbers or excitement of a big meet - and you the star too !! Re the asian-antiques, we have a good chuckle when we see them, in antique St in Jakarta we had one fellow say to us 'you no like this one - you come back tomorrow I make you silver one' a phrase we repeat to one another often when we see the asian antique invasion. We found same thing in Camden on the weekend. Anna, your family day sounds terrific, but how lucky are you to get the book too! What you should do too, is ask the person who put it together if you can have it on DVD/CD as well - that way you can reburn it for other family members - and future generations can have their own copy - and you build on to it. Fingers crossed son finds out today he has the house. Ray didn't laugh when I told him I was going to look for a 'Grumpy old men' group for him - Suzy Q glad you found the tourist free zone too! Congrats Mary on the car choice, you wont know yourself. Lew, sounds like you are really enjoying your new home - good on you . . I too would be a little worried about going anywhere slightly dangerous with your Terry - just check see how much he has insured you for girl . . . Well now that I have caught up with what you all had to say over the weekend - we had a lovely quiet relaxing time, drove down south as far as Camden on Saturday, found a lovely out of the way spot for a picnic and just generally drove around where others didn't - then on Sunday we found ourselves a lovely deserted spot on the Woronora river for another picnic. Yesterday we had a car cleaning session but otherwise just veged out - had friends over for dinner last night - just the sort of weekend that the Dr ordered. Von, I hope everyone brings interesting stuff to Yarrawonga - any resources we can share would be greatly appreciated . . any brickwalls - maybe we could put heads together and come up with suggestions! I'm off now - taken me ages to read and write - be back later cheers all! luv Laurie

Hi folk..... back on line after OH did it AGAIN!!! No virus Lara, the whizz kid doesn't know what OH did, but he did something and it's all his fault. Anyway, spent half of last night finding all my bookmarks, saved files etc, but I've lost my address book from incredimail, so I no longer have everyones email addys, only the ones I remember. And by the looks of things all my stored emails are gone as well. And for some reason we can't load microsoft word back on the 'puter, so I can't open any saved files until I do. Catch up with the thread when I have more time. Hope everyone had a great Easter and didn't overindulge. I didn't have a single hot cross bun or egg. Forgot to buy the buns, and no one gave me any eggs or choccies. :(( Cheers folk, Rebs x

For Mary!!! A couple had been married for 50 years. They were sitting at the breakfast table one morning when the wife says, 'Just think, fifty years ago we were sitting here at this same breakfast table together.' 'I know,' the old man chuckled. 'And we were probably sitting here naked as a jaybird fifty years ago.' 'Well, ' Granny snickered. 'Let's relive some old times.' Where upon, the two stripped to the buff and sat down at the table. 'You know, honey,' the little old lady breathlessly replied, 'My nipples are as hot for you today as they were fifty years ago.' 'I wouldn't be surprised,' replied Gramps. 'one's in your cup of tea.' And another...... A man and his wife were working in their garden one day and the man looks over at his wife and says 'Your butt is getting really big, I mean really big. I bet your butt is bigger than the barbecue.' With that he proceeded to get a measuring tape and measured the grill and then went over to where his wife was working and measured his wife's bottom. 'Yes, I was right, your butt is two inches wider than the barbecue!!!' The woman chose to ignore her husband. Later that night in bed, the husband is feeling frisky. He makes some advances towards his wife who completely brushes him off. 'What's wrong?' he asks. She answers: 'Do you really think I'm going to fire up this big-ass grill for one little weenie? And for all of you with Irish genes......... Two Indians and an Englishman were walking through the woods. All of a sudden one of the Indians ran up a hill to the mouth of a small cave. 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' he called into the cave and listened closely until he heard an answering, 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Woooooo! He then tore off his clothes and ran into the cave. The Englishman was puzzled and asked the remaining Indian what it was all about. 'Was the other Indian crazy or what?' The Indian replied 'No, It is our custom during mating season when Indian men see cave, they holler 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' into the opening. If they get an answer back, it means there's a beautiful squaw in there waiting for us.' Just then they came upon another cave. The second Indian ran up to the cave, stopped, and hollered, 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' Immediately, there was the answer. 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' from deep inside. He also tore off his clothes and ran into the opening. The Englishman wandered around in the woods alone for a while, and then spied a third large cave. As he looked in amazement at the size of the huge opening, he was thinking, 'Hoo, man! Look at the size of this cave! It is bigger than those the Indians found. There must be some really big, fine women in this cave!' He stood in front of the opening and hollered with all his might 'Wooooo! Wooooo! Wooooo!' Like the others, he then heard an answering call, 'WOOOOOOOOO, WOOOOOOOOO, WOOOOOOOOO!' With a gleam in his eye and a smile on his face, he raced into the cave, tearing off his clothes as he ran. The following day, the headline of the local newspaper read... NAKED ENGLISHMAN RUN OVER BY TRAIN! Rebs ;-)))

Hi Wattlers, It's good to see that everyone survived Easter with or without the Eggs. Also it seems that we are all back and in fine form. We had a busy day again yesterday, not so pleasant this time. We had to clean out the chicken pen. We had put netting ll over to stop the pigeons eating all the food, but it had got very messy with leaves and branches falling out it, so we took it all off. The chooks now have nice new staw down, but they still want to be free ranging. I have made contact with a hot match and I am hoping between us we can sort out one of my brick walls. At least I am getting some enthusiasm back to search. I must go because i have been sat here too long today, my leg is aching Love SuzyQ
