Well, serve yourself right, Flakey. That'll teach you, pmsl. The kittens are at the office, living under some bushes, but that's alright, I'll look after them. I know that they kill birds and things, but it's not their fault someone dumped them. Hopefully, I might be able to catch them and find them good homes. Lew Lew xxx

I think having a day with friends has spoilt me a little, but I'd be silly to go out, it's not a nice day here. I just got a nice surprise in the mail .. or rather a knock at the door, a package from Perth, a nice green and black scarf which my lil sister knitted for me. .. I was so touched, and am wearing it around my neck (since I had my hair cut the other day, its a bit cold there!) .. It is sooo nice to receive surprises out of the blue! Jood

Know what you mean Jood, I got a surprise from no 1 daughter yesterday. She knows I like Salvidore Dali artwork so she sent me a mug and a calendar from the Dali gallery in Spain. Its nice to know your thought of occasionally..not just when the credit card runs low...lol You taking one of those kittens home Lew? Bet you cant resist. Hi Vonny, hows the itching going?

No, Flakey. I've got my heart set on a siamese or burmese. These kittens will go to a friend's farm where they will be looked after and have a happy life instead of trying to live off the streets. It's nice to get a surprise, Jood. That'll help you get better quicker, I'm sure. Lew Lew xxx

Hello All , HELP Please I need help can anyone tell me all the emails I am getting on the desk top putor that have an attachment that should open with say kodak or photo program are going to word pad and look like a code you know heaps of letters rows and rows of them no photos of course , also I did a letter that I have to send through as snail mail on word on desk top and saved it then I got this dialogue box and it said program has perfomed an illegal act and will be closed and boom its gone, so I thought thank goodness I saved it and went and opened it and bloody hell no letter just goobly gook so I thought ok will send to laptop and see if that will sort it as it has done before for me with some others but no as I havn't Word on laptop it went to Word pad and lo and behold goobly gook again please tell me how I can get my letter back as took me ages to do it, if anyone knows I would be so grateful boo hoo love Lara

Poor Lara :-(((. Save your attachments to desktop and change the file name to a (dot) jpg extension. You should then be able to open them. Can't help you with your Word problem 'cause I am using WordPerfect 12 which is brilliant! Lew Lew xxx

Thanks Lew you're a pal mate I thought I was losing it my computor wasn't like this before it was fixed and havn't used it since then when the laptop stopped I went back to desk top and have found this fault thanks again will try that with the letter too. love Lara

He will want to come and meet everyone, have lunch with us, on Saturday 10th - but I'm pretty sure he will want to spend some time with our lads in the afternoon. He can be my designated driver! I have trouble when peeps send me picks taken by a Kodak camera,, I dont seem to be able to open them,,I wish I knew more of what I am doing sometimes..If you still have problems put a thread on the General board for Judy in the States.. she is a whizz. There is another lass who is good also but her name escapes me at the moment..might be a Judy ??? Busy today and another one tomorrow.....and the next... Have you got the caravan yet??? Okay, Lara, right click saved file on desktop. Click on 'Rename' and whatever the (dot) extension name is, replace it with (dot) jpg. It will tell you that if you change the file extension, it will become unstable, but you just tell it okay. You should then be able to open it. I'll work on the notepad thingy for you.
