While that shows impressive intelligence for one so young Dan I'm afraid it contrasts with yr 'crappy' comment about a film you haven't seen and which I blubbed at (see - that's matured empathy)

So would you say it is as good as all the hype portrays it to be, or would you consider the media to have once again overplayed the production for far more than it really is?

pmsl Paul Dan - I only read two negative reviews of it before seeing it so am not sure of how it's been received - personally I found it intensely moving and incredibly understated. I spose I was predisposed to like it and there were echoes of my life in it (without the horses or mountains :s) - not to everyone's taste probably.

But David you seem so young to be a cowboy. Those actors are in their early thirties at least!

If I'm honest Daniel I'm 63 but my youthful typing helps me mask it

Shelli, I agree with you. We're all individuals, so no-one's posts are going to get a favourable receptiion from everyone, and I've often thought that lots of people don't really read what's written - they just skim it and interpret, often wrongly, then fly off the handle. Then there's another lot who just won't allow that others don't see things the same way they do. All part of human nature, and it wouldn't do if we were all the same. CB >|< :>)

Dave I had a whole list of people I was unsure about until I met quite a few for the first time last February! There are only a couple I wasn't keen on from the off, the rest are great and a few are now firm friends. Daisy
