Well I'm sat here with tears in my eyes not sure whether i'm happy or sad. Lots of things on here have made me smile but I miss Mum so much. I will be at aquafit when you all get together but I will be raising many a glass when I get home! The party last year was great, I am so glad we did it. Happy birthday Mum. 143 loads. Am sure we will be toasting you in the Sahara and I think I am gonna need you on day 3! Jack xx

You made me cry Jack. She was a very brave woman. I never met her, but I still have the photos of her at the London meet. That smile, and that HAIR, she was a beautiful girl. She really was something. You must be so very proud of her Jack. God bless her. Deanna X

Jack ((((XXXX)))) - for whenever you need it love. A friend has organised a coffee morning for that day with all proceeds to The Pink Fund. It was a total surprise and very apt that it should be on Gaynor's birthday. Daisy

I will be ready to raise my glass to you Gaynor and remember what a brave soul you were and I remember how your Doctor told you that you probably would not make your birthday and you sure showed her and everybody and stayed just a little longer, wish I could have met you but feel like I knew you and send my love on your 52nd birthday to you and your family Lara

I didn't know Gaynor but realised she was someone special when I first joined in a year ago, so I will raise a glass too. Our lives are not measured by the years that we live, but by the people we meet and the love that we give. I think that must have been written for someone like Gaynor who obviously gave so much love to all.

Dear Gaynor, I feel so sad to have not met you, knowing what an inspiration you were to others on here, but can I say I hope you will be watching down on us and laughing when we are trekking as I am sure there will be a few tears and I am sure you would see the funny side to it! Rest In Peace Gaynor and may your star* always shine brightly! Love Susie xx .......Oops Happy Birthday!!!!! XXXXX

Thanks Deanna, Diana and Daisy. Yes I am very proud of my Mum. I've been out today and got some lemons and Limes. Sod the aquafit! I'm going to be drinking the bottle of Bombay Sapphire Gin that Mum got me for my 30th (can't believe I've had it that long - Mum wouldn't believe it either lol) as G&T was her fave tipple before she moved on to Pink milk! I've got Friday off work so I have a day to recover before the trek. Jack x
