I have tried time after time and keep getting the unobtainable tone. We do have a block on mobile phone numbers, but surely this is not the reason why I cannot vote. Hope Hubby can win, fingers crossed. Jenny. |

Oh what a shame! He deserved to win. Has he ever thought about selling that photo to a record company? - it would make a wonderful insert for a CD of soft songs and dreamy music. Mags xx |

Your hubbie did so well to get into the final 5. Shame he didn't win. The photo that did win was lovely but I didn't think necessarily the best but it was an emotive subject. Congratulations Linda x |

Thanks everyone, yeah subject matter of the pic probably swung it I reckon. He's not too dissapointed. He's got a new camera and the pic goes on show in Jessops, so when your walking past, remember my kids. thanks catherine xx |

Oh, Catherine, you sound sooo disappointed. Have a hug ((C)) The worst place he could have come was 5th out of THOUSANDS! So crack open that bottle when he gets home and CELEBRATE! The man done good and I would be chuffed to take a photograph one tenth that standard. Congratulations Oliver, that was one hell of an achievement. Mags xxx |

I was watching it earlier, but had to go to work before I heard the result As soon as I saw the piccy of the blind boy and the ball, I knew that would win.It was a really good piccy, but it was the story behind the piccy which deemed it a winner from the start Everyone likes a tale like that, so that was what imprinted on peoples minds rather than the picture itself (which was good anyhow) Still, glad your hubby got a camera out of it Elaine x |
