Since getting back from the Sahara i have had a really grotty time, not least of all with my 19 year old son. Things have lurched from one nasty mood to another and ruined my birthday last week. This week it has got even worse and resulted in a huge row today where he packed his bags and walked out. I don't know where he has gone, or if he is coming back. Part of me is so heatbroken over the things he has said i don't want him back and the other part hurts at the loss of the son i adore. They sure break your heart as they grow up don't they.

Yvette any consolation he has probably gone to one of his mates. Hopefully their Mum will ring you let you know he is there. Mine never left but gosh the amount of times I had his mates turn up with their bags . They soon went home but I always said I would never turn them away least we knew they were safe here and their mums always grateful. Hope you get it all sorted soon. Germaine Hugs xxxx

Thanks everyone. I really don't understand what is going on with David, he has always been the most caring of my older two, but he has become a stranger the past couple of months. I divorced his father 17 years ago for violence, and he has had limited contact with him for various reasons, but genetics seem to have had their way, my caring loving son turned into his father today. I am back in a place i never wanted to be. I just wish he would call so i would know he was ok if nothing else.

Hi Yvette, Sorry to read about your trouble with David. Teenagers can be very hurtful, but from experience I would say that it will be ok in time. Hang in there, thinking of you. Frances x
