Oh, for goodness' sake what's been going on NOW?? I missed it all whatever happened. This is ridiculous. Answer is simple.....If you don't like a thread, or you don't think it will interest you, or you think you will find it offensive/too funny/too clever/too boring/ too intellectual/too silly .....WHATEVER....then the answer is so simple. Don't read it. As for Steve, I don't know what he's supposed to have done, and I don't need to know, because my point is that he has been very very helpful to me (a complete computer dimwit) when I've not been able to do something on the computer. He's explained carefully, walking me through step by step idiots-guide style, to explain how to get me unstuck from my jam. I'm not clever with computer stuff, and probably the things I've asked him to help me with are extremely simple to him, yet he has only ever shown patience and understanding until I was able to do the task I couldn't. I can't thank the guy enough, because without him my computer would have been thrown out the window in frustration long ago, and I STILL wouldn't have learned how to do what I can now. Sorry it's a bit long-winded, but it had to be said! Karen x |
