Well - I've had 2 emails from her this week. She was in Germany having already been to Amsterdam. I will not divulge on here what she got up to while there! Today she wished me and her Dad happy birthdays! She was in Austria and had been white water rafting. She is off to Italy next. Deb |

Good for her - you have obviously produced a confident intelligent young lady who doesn't forget her family once she is away having fun. Just so long as she tells you about the adventures after they have happened rather than before, so you don't have to worry about the particular challenge she has set herself beforehand. Safe travelling for her, and happy memories, and peace of mind for you Deb, Liz |

Just saw your posting Liz. Thank you. She is off to Rome today for a couple of days. My Dad phoned tonight to see how she is doing. As i said to him, we have gone from 6 phone calls a day to 2 emails in a week! So she must be having fun. Ahhhh to be young again! Deb |

Maz - Give her a big hug from me and her Dad! We got a call at 6.03am this morning. She had arrived in Rome, and this was the only chance to call us. She sounds like she is having the time of her life. She has chumed up with a couple of girls from Boston, and a boy from Quebec. So far she has: Gone on the Heineken brewery tour and drank 2L of beer (and proud of it) Went to the Van Gough museum. Went on some diamond something or other. (I'm not mentioning what she SAW in Amsterdam!) White water rafted in Austria. Went on a gondola ride in Venice and drank belini's while doing so. She was going on a guided tour of Rome just after she spoke to us. She is booked to go on the tour of Vatican City, and the Sistine Chapel. I want to be 18 again and doing all that!!! Maz - make sure that she goes to the off license and buys you a bottle of GOOD wine :) When I know more I will post! Deb |

*************UPDATE************** Well, the word traveler is back on home ground tomorrow afternoon. I saw her 2 weeks ago when I was over there, but her Dad and Brother haven't seen her for 4 months. She has 3 jobs lined up to choose from when she gets back. She is going to save up and her plan is to head to Austraila to meet up with the Love of her life. She and Andrew (from Perth) met on the European leg of her tour. Deb |
