So do I. She's going into Belford Hosp in Ft William and we'll be there anyway next Sunday - doing about 1000 bacon rolls etc for 3 Peaks Challenge participants. All being well (with her chest as she's asthmatic) op should be Tuesday. As always when someone's in hospital all the family will be to see her so might still be able to meet you in Abdn. Got your number on my phone anyway so will give you a ring next Tuesday poss evening. Think Anne from Stonehaven and maybe Sue Hazzard might be able to be in Abdn as well. Might actually make the Liverpool meeting - thought because of staff hols it wouldn't happen but got a new woman starting next week and she's got a bit of gumption so looking promising.

You wer up early .... Woody good luck for your mum..I had mine out when I was 30..Felt a new woman but gained weight, well , that's my excuse...

I had mine out at 19 and definitely gained weight afterwards - before that I wore age 11-12 clothes! She should be okay, they considered doing the op in March when she had last attack but didn't want to do an emergency op. She'll get every care and I'm glad it's the Belford, my son says it's a good hospital.
