Can we have a thread for (good natured) Bah humbug moaning.... things that get our goat as we get older....I just watched two teenage girls walking by with their bottoms hanging out of their jeans.... dont you just want to run up to them and pull their trousers up!!... hems all dragging on the floor getting dirty... and no sign of a bottom at all.... oohh....! lol

tell me someone, what is attractive about showing off your underwear , as in THONG? likewise sheer skirts. over a thong, with ( heaven forbit NO petticoat) that shows of evry millimeter of cellulite

Yes I am so glad now that I didnt have girls because the clothes that they wear well....Skirts that could be belts how do they sit down in them...? And the boys all wear those jeans that hang down and you can see their boxers.

Being honest - no I mean honest - first impressions the way some dress is - that is sluttish. Then one must ask oneself - posh eh! - go back to the 1960's girl if that was fashion then would you have done the same - being honest - yes I mean honest - A big shameful YES. LOL Dorothy

But i dont think i would have dared ruin the bottom of my trousers for the sake of fashion though... my mum would have killed me! lol

Ok....so i'm a little over weight but why can't underwear manufacturers realise that women my age (56) like PRETTY undies? Most reasonable priced brands come in white or beige.....WOW! Trifley

Seems to me that the kids today appear to have to have the best of everything and not making do... I can remember having to wait for my first pair of jeans and I loved them to bits would never have worn them like the kids of today do.. Makeup was a big no no and my ears peirced well that was when I was in my teens....had to wait....lol

Yes I too have the drama of the nighties....Why is that cause I am larger than the 'NORM' i suppose......Not fair and being vertically challenged just doesnt help at all...

Yes Butterfly... I had to wait until i was 16 before i was allowed to get my ears pierced! now you see small babies with them... tragic! what happens if they pull their ears.. or have an accident as babies do... and how can you say a pair of tiny gold blobs enhance a babies appearance???? They make them no more ' pretty' and the baby hasnt the first clue about what is fashionable and what is not... it is pure selfish indulgence on the parents part....

Why do a certain credit card money keep sending me blank cheques with all ................. ALL my account details on them are they trying to help someone steal my identity??????? I don't want to spend money if I did I would use the (bleep) credit card! Julie xxx

I remember being a mod! and going out in ankle swingers, mini skirts, pointed toe shoes, and having a haircut that my dad called me coconut head, oh those were the days!!

Our Em........yes I too think it looks horrid when I see babies with those great big gold dangling earrings you would think that it would stretch their ear lobes... if i was to have a girl I would leave it to her to decide wether to have them or not... I can still remember going with a friend when she was having her ears peirced and in those days they used a needle it was horrible..

I have 4 daughters Butterfly... the two eldest had theirs done when they were 13 ( i couldnt bear the whining any longer lol) the younger two ( aged 11 and 9) have not had theirs done yet, i said they would have to wait until High school...

So do some of the english guys have their ear peirced as well or is that so old now...
