Yeah well my dad's actually Spiderman so he can sort out any policeman any time and can do more stunts than anyone. But you can't tell anyone as its a secret. Angela

Angela, I remember the rocking horse too! Bad news if you were at the front! I was soo small when I went on the witches Hat!. Clung on for dear life! and no 'rubber crumb' to save us if we fell off!! I also remember the roundabout. Also do you remember the see -saw that was just a long plank of wood which you stood on either side? Everyone tried so hard to get it going so high it nearly hit the bar across the top. Memories!! I'll let you all get back to playing now!! Carol x

Carol That seesaw was something. I use to try and catapult my little sister, much to parents annoyance! Linda, I always wanted a Tressey doll and Sindy doll and never got either. Life wasn't worth living if you didn't have both Sindy and Tressey in those days. My Bay City Rollers pendant was passed on by a child in the house that backed onto ours and I didn't really know who they were - just that I should think they were great if I was to be 'in'. We didn't have tv till I was 8 or so and then we had a handmedown set that only got one channel in b&w. I also got no pocket money so didn't buy comics/mags to keep up to date on all the things I was supposed to know about to keep up with the other kids and wasn't allowed a chopper, or any bike, as they were 'dangerous'. But I had fun anyway and the playground holds happiest memories! Angela

lol! Angela, images of your sister flying through the air!! I did have a Tressy and a Sindy. Never owned or wanted to own a Tiny Tears. I was more of a teddy bear girl rather than play with dolly's. I think I cut all the hair off my Tressy and Sindy and coloured them with felt-tip pens during the Punk Years! Carol x
