Meh !!!

Debby

Debby Report 1 Aug 2006 23:00

Sorry Debs I was replying to Jess and others - I don't think it is a case of 'don't go there' - they weren't funny threads - quite the opposite. Some people are just so gullible on this site and others - I can't believe it! Debby

Mags

Mags Report 1 Aug 2006 23:00

Well I add myself and my honest opinions on threads and am organising a meet does that make me mad! Should I sit back and keep quiet in fear I might meet one of you??? I am honest in every day life and if people don't like it I will deal with it! I will not live in fear on this site of being honest because you can find me! Why should I! If you are mad enough to come and hurt me then I would rather you did it to me in front of loads of people and get caught than be roming around the streets! I can see your point to a certain extent but at the end of the day we do meet up from this site so there are alot of us available to weirdos if that is there thing! Should we not have meets??

eRRolSheep Report 1 Aug 2006 22:57

That is such an important point Debs - you never know who is the other side of the chat screen!

Debby

Debby Report 1 Aug 2006 22:56

I still think those threads are inappropriate for this board. Debby

Debbie Report 1 Aug 2006 22:56

Erroll Not sure what Debs your agreeing with BUT I still say I agree with you... Can you imagine giving personal details away and someone building up this fantasy image??? Well some people need to think before replying! Debs x

eRRolSheep

eRRolSheep Report 1 Aug 2006 22:56

Totally incorrect Jess - I am adding my opinion to an open debate that just happens to disagree with your's.

Mags

Mags Report 1 Aug 2006 22:55

Batman! Its worrying that you think like that!!!! Oh a Errol causing a stir again Shocking!!!!

Joy

Joy Report 1 Aug 2006 22:55

Well, on the one to which I just replied again, I didn't understand it. And now it has been explained, I don't understand it even more!!! Kettle's boiling.

Debbie Report 1 Aug 2006 22:51

Well I never saw the one that has been nudged before... though I wouldnt even open that one to read I must say. The sex or chocolate one sounded joky until you read his replies... Still say he found the wrong website and women... though shocked that women would give someone details even if they are for a joke! Debs x

Frances in Norwich

Frances in Norwich Report 1 Aug 2006 22:48

I saw the three threads by the same poster this evening. All of the titles were 'suggestive' and I think we should all bear in mind that none of us knows who anyone really is when we see a name on a thread. I have not seen this persons name before tonight (although I am not around that much) but I would be very wary of someone who can ONLY post threads like these. Frances

Jess I'm afraid I agree with Debs. To use the analogy made earlier - tights and stockings are little more than 'Carry On' humour - that great British trait of innuendo and titillation, whereas this was something that went past the mark and, to me, was coarse and an abuse of female equality. He never asked a personal question of male members, did he? The old argument of 'don't read it if you don't like it' is wearing a little thin - how can one make the decision not to read if one doesn't know the full content? It's like the old 'Life or Brian' arguments of years ago - you are not qualified to make an informed opinion unless you know the details.

Debby

Debby Report 1 Aug 2006 22:46

Rebs Were they posted by women though? Somehow I wouldn't find that as distasteful! And it was the replies that were made by the poster that made it more freakish. Debby

two seperate issues here : was it the thread subject that you objected to? or the fact that is was a bloke that asked? if it was the topic, then its been done before, which was i was refering to when you messaged me (OK Ladies Who has been brave enough to have a Brazillian? It amazes me the number of women that reply to these types of threads then go on to reply to the 'Where do you live thread?' Dangerous stuff in my opinion.

Unknown Report 1 Aug 2006 22:44

Can I point out that a thread of the same subject matter was circulating the board prior to the beginning of summer and no-one blinked. Nor was there any oppostion to a thread asking peeps if they would go naked on a public beach. In fact, both had a number of amusing replies. Maybe it depends on who the poster of the thread is.

Joy

Joy Report 1 Aug 2006 22:41

If we are on about the same thread ........... I didn't understand it, and said so on the thread, and someone has kindly sent me a PM explaining it.
