Is it me or do more of these threads keep appearing ? I am no prude but I feel that this site in not the appropriate form for some of the threads that have recently been posted.

There have always been some and obviously it's a matter of taste. Nothing much offends me in that way but I do think Douglas' thread was likely to make a few people uncomfortable. I don't think there's any change in the amount.

If you think they sound distasteful, don't read them. AL

We can't all like or approve of the subject title, but as long as the contents are kept clean and non abusive where's the real harm? To the best of my knowledge there is no law against innuendo. And again, it comes down to choice. If you don't like it, don't read it.

What was Douglas' thread? I, m not easily offended, cazxxx

Paul

Paul Report 1 Aug 2006 21:57

Got to agree with you too Kris. I also think that some people will laugh if a certain person posts it. But if it was someone else, they'd probably take offence to it. It's the same thing as one rule for one, and another for others. Paul.

I agree Kris - just don't admit on here if you report any!

True Aimee, the title can often be deceptive. The way l view the threads is like overhearing a conversation on the street. You can't go around telling people you find their conversaton offensive, or tell them to shut up, so you move on or tune out.

Hello, Kris ... :-) Yes, I think that there have been more recently.

Kris

Kris Report 1 Aug 2006 22:22

I think that the word innuendo implies a degree of subtlety - something which I did not see. You are right , those of you who said ignore - believe me I have, but I can have an opinion surely?

PinkDiana

PinkDiana Report 1 Aug 2006 22:23

Of course you are allowed an opinion sweetie..... we all have them!! ;o) xx

 Debbie

Debbie Report 1 Aug 2006 22:24

Kris I think we may be on the same level here - I love nothing more than a laugh and joke, but when something sounds innocent but turns out to be nothing more than something that sounds nothing more than a cheap thrill the more you read isnt funny! Innuendo's I love, but cheap thrills arent for this site.. NO not a prude.. Debs x
