I did exactly the same thing......... This time the spring went straight into my finger as I tried to uncurl it, and as it went in quite deeply it had to be removed by local injection at the accident and emergency dept!!!

When I was little (about 8 or 9 years old) I tried to uncurl a spring that I had found in my Dads shed.......By holding it with my teeth. My dad had to take me to the dentist to get it removed from my front teeth....I had to walk down the road with the spring wedged between my two front teeth and the rest of it (around 2 inches) was pertruding from my mouth!!! The dentist was unable to cut it off so my dad took me to............... The Fire station, and he made me walk there! Then a year or so later.............

Ok Lyn Here goes....This happened the week before Christmas just gone..... Me and my daughter Jemma had been shopping, we both jumped on the bus and sat down in the only seat available (the one opposite the big long seat at the back) So here we are facing the people on the long seat, there is me not taking ANY notice of NOBODY just sitting there in a dream world thinking about what I had to do when I got home. After a couple of ignored nudges, I looks at my daughter and says WHAT in qiute a loud voice......She then shows me her phone, and I promptly reads out in a loud voice....... 'LOOK AT HER NOSE.' Who sent you that? says me oblivious, her face just dropped and she then whispered 'I can't believe you just did that' There's me still not clicked at what she is on about........ UNTILL I looked opposite me.........OMG there was a lady on the seat sitting opposite me with the biggest nose I have ever seen, she was staring right at me.......She must have heard me read out what my daughter had written on her phone.... I was sooo embarrased, we had to get off the bus. My daughter was in hysterics all the way home.

I met this guy at Belle Vue years ago before i married he looked OK in the dark after a few drinks at the end of the night, i arranged for him to call for me a few days later , Well when i saw him walking up the path i died a thousand deaths, i was running around like a headless chick, i managed to get me Mum to pretend she was me, well if you saw my Mum in them days, you would understand wearing her old pinny, i bet he was thinking i didnt drink that much did I , And the thing is my Mum nearly invited him in cos she felt sorry for him, cos i think he felt sorry for her and tried to be nice saying how you she still looked etc, PMSL hinding behind the the settee, why i hid there ill never know, but in them days you use to hide there if you did'nt want to answer the door to some one, my Dad would have gone Mad if he knew, he would of gone Mad if he knew i was dating boys Lol they were the days Lil

Just thought of this one....it happened while I was staying at a hotel in Birmingham...

I was waiting for the lift and a man started talking to me..

Hello he said, Hi I replyed,
How are you? he said, Im fine, I replyed.
What are you doing tomorrow? He said

I went on to tell him that I was going to a wedding in the morning......He suddenly said to me 'Will you please be quiet Im trying to have a conversation'

He had one of them hands free ear pieces on, and I thought he was talking to me....lol

I decided to walk down the stairs to hide my red face!!

Debby, I loved the ironing board one PMSL

Debby Report 4 Aug 2006 21:50

Lynn - I swear it wasn't me! Buses - lol I''ve got another 3 - all happened to me When I was a kid I was showing off and jumped off a bus while it was still moving - I tripped over the kerb and went flying. Another time I'd bought an ironing board and took it on the bus with me (oh the shame!). When I got off the bus the wind caught my ironing board and took me up the road. I was getting off the bus with my son in one arm and the buggy in the other. Halfway down the steps, the doors closed on me and the bus set off with my face between the doors and the buggy (luckily) on the outside of the bus. As well as being embarassed, I was fuming. Debby
