You know for a fact why people still get upset with certain individuals - if you chose to associate with them then that's your choice as you know the facts...... maybe someone was just filling Jayne in on the facts and letting her make her own decision, rather than playing innocent and saying nothing!!

And Rosie - your statement its a computer its not real, worries me as I for one do not pretend to be anyone other than who I am whether this is virtual or reality!! There are people on this site who's only reality, for whatever reason, is GR and those that mock that, should be ashamed!!

MM / Joy, I really do not know what on earth has happened beforehand but I'm just sick of the nasty comments. I know you've questioned my existence but I can understand that in the circumstances. This is a great site with lots of helpful people. I just wish that people could use it for the intention it was made for. Am happy to delete this message if appropriate to do so. Green

Sorry Pinkella, I did compose a complaint about you being mentioned because I could see how wrong that was, but the perpetrator probably wanted the 'fame'. If I may pick up some phrases from some of the posts - 'this is a computer, it isn't real' it is real - unless you are pretending or roleplaying, this is website for real people not gameplayers. 'anyone can be anyone' - but why would anyone want to be someone other than who they are? I have never been anyone but me on here. It's the people who are pretending who are the problem. 'people are influenced by others' opinions' that's true in every walk of life. I trust the opinions of the people I trust. 'we have to make our own decision' and I think most of us have. Mine were formed from what I saw here and elsewhere. Real people with real feelings have been hurt by the actions of other members. It isn't for me to tell them to forget it and move on, I have never been abused here or even had a nasty pm, so I'm not is a position to tell those who have to move on. I know I'm real, as do the people who've met me. I don't play games and pretend to be someone I'm not. I have one login and one ID. I don't send nasty emails, I don't create a fake ID and post here or on 'success'. I do watch what goes on and draw my own conclusions. I have seen at first hand the effect the nastiness has had on one person in particular. I can't 'forget that and move on'. In the 'real' world there are people I choose not to mix with and it is the same on here. No doubt there are those who feel the same way about me, that's fine. Gwynne

Hi Gwynne I have just read your post and your words. (I have seen at first hand the effect the nastiness has had on one person in particular. I can't 'forget that and move on'.) Out of all the members on here I think you are one of the most respected. Well that’s my opinion anyway, But what would you suggest members do? keep on and on about the same old thing upsetting others that come on here to chill, cos some members just won't move on and accept that these members are full paying like everyone else. And also you get these members pointing the finger an tarring others with the same brush as mentioned above, why cos they add to threads or chat to these members that they have issues with, to be honest Gwynne as far as i'm concerned that’s there prob and not mine, as I am one of the members that adds to any thread I wish to, that makes me the same, I have not received nasty PM either but I have been named and shamed as some say by a nameless person why for one reason only, I have my own mind and my own opinions which others don’t like its my opinion and not aimed at anyone personally, I really don’t know what the answer is apart from if you don’t like a thread don’t add that way the members with different issues avoid each other, but as I said above on my earlier post, the post on success if becoming an obsession with this member and that is sad,, and yes unless you have met others its just words on a screen as someone has already said, and yes i do value opinions at times, but being told by others who i should and should'nt avoid, is members trying to influence my opinions of others, all I can say is these sort of people that run around doing this should move on and foget if they cannot forgive. Hi, Lil, Thank you for your kind words. If I am respected I hope it is because I am honest and try hard to be fair. I have had disagreements with people on here but have never resorted to personal abuse or hidden behind a fake ID or multiple IDs in order to abuse or deceive other board members. I do not respect or want anything to do with those who do that. I cannot suggest what other members do, it isn't my place. We all have to decide for ourselves, I can only speak for myself. I will say that a few apologies much earlier on would have helped but I can't dictate how others behave or how others respond. There are those who see no wrong in what they did, I beg to differ. I certainly do not tell board members who to talk to but if I'm asked a question I answer it honestly. If someone asks me what all the nastiness is about I tell them, briefly, but very few people have. But I only tell what I have seen with my own eyes, not what I have been told by others. I see your point about it being the problem of the people concerned and not yours but that isn't my way. If I see people hurt and abused for no good reason, other than a thrill and a laugh for the abuser, it makes me very angry. There are reasons for this that I explained in a thread earlier this year. I believe that you are an honest and genuine person and I respect your decision to speak to whomsoever you choose and I hope you respect those that feel differently. I abhor all the messages posted on the success board, especially those naming members I know to be honest and genuine, I include you in that group. It is up to GR to sort it out. But, as I have said before, a check on IPs and credit card numbers is not that hard to do, other sites do it. Those with multiple IDs, intent on deception, should be banned forever, not just 8 weeks. There are people posting on these boards who have caused deep hurt to people I know personally. What sort of friend would I be if I pretended it didn't happen? I let a dear friend down once, it won't happen again. Perhaps if the people saw, as I did, the effect of their behaviour they would feel sorry. Or perhaps they would be pleased with themselves. There are enough people on here for me to chat to who I know to be real and there are those I choose to avoid but you and others must choose for yourselves. I won't be dictated to either, lol! Thanks for your reply Gwynne and i do agree 100% that i and others should choose for are self's which i do, and i too refuse to be dictated too, i respect your opinion, and yes i think GR are now taking on board members concerns and you will find GR are now Banning members and not suspending them for any rule breaking, and that i have first hand as the say, Take Care Lil
