How many of us are aware of SADS Sudden Adult Death Syndrome - it kills at least 8 young people per week - the list of medication to avoid if a known sufferer is endless-I know my Son was or had actually taken two of the ones on the list - also inhalers are on the list - how come we were not made more aware of this-my GP is arranging for me and my family to be screened - but it is tragic that we had to lose Stephen to be given this chance-please look on the internet and read up on this and make others aware. Thank you - Jennifer.

I've never heard of it before, but will definitely look on the internet for details. It's obviously something that we need to be more aware of - thanks for posting this. Kaye x

I lost my brother last year and my Son this year, now we are all going for screening - people need to be aware of this situation - in the UK 8 a week - that is a lot of heartache - we need to read and learn.

If 8 young adults are dying from this every week, that means 32 a month, which in turn is 384 a year - and very little is known about it - until it strikes home - 384 lost lifes - but the number of people left affected by this is far more, all the family and friends that are left without their loved one's and all the heartache that follows. More people need to be aware of this and more money needs to be awarded to research so we can stop this dreadfull thing happening. Please help me make people aware of this and hopefully something can be done. I am going to look into ways of improving awareness and I will keep you posted. Thank you Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer I'm so sorry for your loss - how incredibly brave of you to want to raise awareness. I knew a child at the school where I work, that died of SADS, but previously had never heard of it. Sharon xx
