hey Jean Joy...another of my quieter friends.....yes we had some laughs didn't we, so many happy, sad times, but now I need to move on. Always always if anyone wanted me I am reachable, people like Jupeee and Em and many more know where to reach me so I am not lost to anyone, but I also know that others will and can take my place, and that is good, i was never anymore special than anyone else, and I am glad that I know that XXX |

Well Lems, The end of an Era is upon us.. as the year closes so does your membership with GR, and in that, a little light, that always twinkled with a smile, a light heartednes and a reassuring voice leaves the Gr boards... You have been there for so many, me included, we have laughed til we cried... and cried also sometimes at the injustice, the travesty and despair of the tragic hands some members lives have been dealt... Its been a rollercoaster of emotions Lems, our Gr friendship, we have weathered the storms of unrest and the highs of hilarity.. we have forged good and strong friendships that have seen the test of time.. and will go on doing so.. many years after GR may be a long and distant memory, and thats what matters.. As the little Lemon star fades out of GR for good... I know that you are still there.. for me and others... on another website, at the end of the phone, and at the end of a car journey... but most of all... in our hearts and minds... Good bye from GR Lems my big sis... But not goodbye my friend. xxxxx |

And here's me thinking that the countdown of days was for a big New Years Eve party. I'm sad. Lemon I too will miss your posts. Having met you, I can truly say that you are a wonderful person. A person whom I shall never forget. Jess - we have never had any contact, but your contributions to the boards will be sorely missed. Deb |

Hi Lem's, you dont need me to tell you just how much you shall be missed on GR. I had the priviledge to meet you at the Boro' meet and then on the sands at Tynemouth where we had our picnic. lol. Jess, you will also be missed, I have had a few chats on the phone to you Jess and hope we shall do so again in the New Year. All I can say is, GR will never be the same after 'Black September' I too shall not be renewing after the GB Relay has come to an end. If there are still enough interested, there will still be a big met up in the midlands and hopefully you can both join us. I would like to thank you both for all your help in the GB Relay. Love Jenny. xx |

I fully understand your reasoning Lems - I have till May for my decision so should you need to contact anyone please 'use' me! Can't disagree with anything you've said, really - you've been there with advice when required and it was great to meet you. I have a bad case of 'the can't be bothered's' about posting now, so this is a rarity. I'm not worried about it or afraid - I just can't be 'fuffed' if I may steal your phrase!! Good luck, will see you on FTF and think about having a look at scotfamtree - it's really interesting, not a chat forum as here but lots of history and genealogy. Good luck and a very Happy New Year to you and the Garage Man! |

well lemon,im shocked.i have spent many hours laughing at your threads and antics.i can agree with so much you have put.ive watched to see who are the troublemakers, but i question who they are.i think people either gel with someone or not,if not avoid them.i have many who i like, and so few i dont like,so i avoid the ones i dont like.i dont add to much but only for personal reasons, not because im upset by other members at all.the other site is lovely, but different.i wish you well in your life and hope that you have a lovely 2007.x |

Good luck Elaine x |

Lemon, I understand how you feel but I haven't got over to Muskegon yet for the grave of that Boonstra fella. And when you deleted yourself all your messages to me went and I'll be damed if I can find his grave ref on the internet, must be missing something. Anyway I will miss you!! You too Jess!! Fiona. x |

hey Gwynne .....right from the start you and me got on....even when I wis no way gonna be anything but lemon lol I respect so much the people like you who went through the ups and downs and refuse to give in. I am not a quitter either , so I see this more as moving on, having no more to offer here. I almost feel relief through the sadness that finally I am able to let go, and so fitting that my last night is the end of the year XXX |
