I could murder a slice of chocolate fudge cake at the moment. Don't worry, I haven't got any, so I can resist. |

Ok ty Hayley. I put on weight when i was pregnant with my daughter a year ago, and so far have managed to lose 2 stone since then, the first stone i did by myself and the second when i started with my trainer, i know not everyone can afford a trainer & nutritionist so i thought i could help on this thread for others with what iv learnt from my trainer. Well it's strict but it works, Im losing 2-3lb a week doing this. Firstly, No bread, No pasta, No potatoes or other very high carb food. If you can learn to go without coffee then good on you and the same with tea, although green tea you can have is good for you, without milk. If you have milk semi-skimmed or skimmed. You start the day with an apple or pear or kiwi with a small fat free yogurt, when you wake up and a cup or hot boiled water and slice of lemon. This helps to kick start your metabolism and flushes through toxins and food from body (if you had cold water it will just bloast you, as cold water stays in the stomach, and warm/hot water go straight through you) Then go for a brisk 30 minute walk or do something for 30 mins that gets you sweating and your heart rate up. When you have finished don't eat anything until 20 mins after, you need to give your body time to keep burning off what you have just done. Then eat a small bowl of porridge oats or oat based cereal, there's a fantastic tasting cereal called 'Whole Earth Red Fruit Crunch' they sell in it asda in the organic bit down cereal aisle. This will keep you full up until early afternoon. I usually then do a hour exercising, optional though u could do housework or a hobbie or sport. Have some nuts for a snack if you are hungry. For lunch I have recipes for, and something different every other day. Rocket salad with cherry tomatoes, feta pieces and cpped walnuts and balsamic vinegar, with tuna steak or tinned tuna in brine and low fat mayo. A low fat yogurt or piece of fruit. or low fat organic soup and a couple or ryvitas with cottage cheese and some rocket. or Butternut squash roasted with low fat chedder cheese on top and rocket salad. then have some more nuts for a snack a few hours later if hungry. for dinner I have fish three times a week, salmon poached, tuna steak grilled and king prawns in a stir fry. Also a mediterrean bake recipe i have that is lovely and healthy chicken on skewers. Have warm/hot water with slice of lemon with it. Can I also say that if you do drink lots of water before you eat thinking it will fill you up and you dont have to eat as much, is bad news to that. You tricking your body and when you do that your only tricking yourself and you goal. Its good to eat and eat more but small portions the size of hands cupped togeather. If you don't eat when your hungry, your body goes into survival mode and starts to take fat from your muscles not your outta mass, so when you do start eating properly again the weight goes straight back on as fat and that's why some people say they have put weight back on quickly. If you want any recipes just ask. |
