I have just come back from Chester and thought I would come on and put a few 'recommendations' on here...... Stayed at Chester Backpackers Hostel, 5 mins from Chester stn had an ensuite twin which was clean and comfortable £90 for two for two nights, (they also have dorms)tv lounge and fully equpped kitchen open 24/7,No 'curfew' ,roof terrace for sitting out. Italian restaurant...cafe Uno in Bridge st....really nice Pasta conna Spinachi, pizza and something I couldn't pronounce! good service ,good wine. breakfast at Wetherspoons Foregate st, reasonably priced and nice. river trip 2 hours (£12 adults) but well worth it I felt for two hours of relaxed cruising through the Grosvenor estate.... Lol Anne, aren't they lovely?! I was very good and just had 100g of coffee creams, son had choc owl and hedgehog,lollipop and jellybeans ...but could have stayed there all day trying one of everything! Rosexx |
