Chrissie, I was wondering if it was a memorial, as in a cathedral plaque, that Awdrey meant, if so it may be Chichester Dee x |

Awdrey Is yours Chichester? (although if you've settled down with Martin Shaw, you may not reply!) I have ancestors from Chichester also. I'm sure I've seen a blue plaque for Holst, but can't for the life of me remember where! Angela |

Sorry, I'm watching the TV. No, it isn't the Isle of Wight. It is a rather obscure one, so I had better give you a clue. It's in Cornwall. |

Good morning all, an easy one to start the day with. I think we have guessed all the outstanding ones, just waiting for Awdrey to confirm if Chichester is right I think, but apologies if I have missed any others This city is said to be the inspiration for some of Elizabeth Gaskell’s novels. Known as the centre of the textile industry it was probably the birthplace of Chartism Dee ;-)) |

Couldn't let you down Karen, so I googled. Apparently the mistress was Nancy Neele and she booked herself in as Teresa Neele. |

I am in a place (or I will be very shortly) that was once quite pretty with a lawn and various plants and bushes. It is now so overgrown that you can barely see the any of the plants, just loads of weeds. I shall be back later to tell you where I am (or was):))))) |

I knew if I searched long enough I would find it The ‘other woman’ in the Christie marriage was Nancy Neele, a 26 year old secretary in the City, who Archie met in Surrey. For some reason I have the complete works of Agatha Christie, with the magazines that came with them Dee ;-)) |
