Hi Alaina I think you have done very well, (you might not think you have) but trust me when i was your age i wouldn't of even throught about giving up. I also don't live in a smoke free house and the reason its been easier for me was this is the only time i've be 100% sure it was what i wanted to do. Joanie Keep it up, i will alway chase you and not over take. Julie who has now lost count how long its been |

Sometimes Ihave my doubts. Years ago after my doctor moaned about me smoking I asked the chemist what he recommended. 'Nothing until you have decided not to smoke.' He replied. I read all this waffle about buying patches and gums and smokefree kits and think how much money is being made by the producers. 13 March I went into hospital. Had my last fag at the door before entering. Have not touched a cigarette since. I still have an unopened packet and lighter by my bed but so far have not felt I needed a cigarette enough to open the packet. I had decided that since the hospital would not let me smoke I wanted to stop. My doctor needed treatment for shock. 'I've been trying to make you stop for 10 years. Why now, why not before?' Didn't like to tell him I don't like being told what to do. The chemist was right. Decide not to smoke and stop! I have to admit I am surprised at how quickly the money adds up. Clive |
