Just thought I'd update this bit of the thread! This is a thread for those wanting to give up smoking, thinking about or actually physically doing it and needing a kind of 'online' diary and support to record how they are doing. I try and update this with my comments every few days and I know others do aswell. ti is a long thread but if you read through from page 1 there is alot of helpful advice which myself and others have posted. Please feel free to have a look or just leave a comment. Angelic Alaina xx

Maz Don't you worry I'll be checking every day how you are doing! Have you thought about trying the gum instead of patches? When I was going to quit on Monday I started with the gum when I got up about 6ish and I was fine, if it hadn't been for the funeral I think I might have lasted all day coz the gum gives you the taste of cigs but without the smoke but everythig just got on top of me that day. Next Monday is stressfree for me tho got no work and no funeral's so that's why I'm definately going to do it, and we'll be a support to each other, and if you do cave I don't want you to think your letting me down coz you not A xxx

Julie I'm like Maz I see everything lol 2 fags in 22 days is nothing so don't think about it as a bad thing! in fact don't even think about it, you did it and you enjoyed them, but you have been smokefree for 22 days, just think how many less chemicals you have in your body, theres 4000 different ones in each cig! Angelic Alaina Report 4 Apr 2007 23:12

I think I'll be ok with the weight, I've been going to weight watchers since october and to date have lost a stone, I now know what makes me put on weight so I'll stay clear of those nibbles love my fruit anyway esp apples and bananas so they will be my back up! Well done on 7 weeks tho Rose that is so good! A
