hi scarlet, the reason i`m ranting, raving and name calling on here is cos i can`t say it out loud..can`t let him know what i think of the buggers..anyway i had a phone call today and we have a visit tomorrow at 11 o`clock to the new place he`s going to, then maybe find out when he`ll start properly, which now will mean he may only have 3 weeks there !!!!!!!! unless he goes back there in september for a while, sharon

Four weeks is quite a time to teach someone something - chances are if it was not the summer holidays, he would have been there longer. hopefully you and they can work together on the things that he will learn at the RU and keep them consistant over the summer - (even if they are not things you'd normally do at home) so they are second nature to him by Sept. Like say, temper control, conforming to rules and other things. Please dont let your son know you call his head teacher names, will you though, please? he wont understand its wrong for him to if he hears you do the same.- thats not knocking you , just trying to make you see you need to set the example to him to follow in what you say ( even if you dont think it)

Sharon,Grandson was not permanently excluded still cant go back to school until the 9th July.Still had 30 days exclusion. It leaves him 10 days back at school before they break up.My son says he is not going back at all.He said on the first day back they will be all cuddling him as they always do.Then by day 3 he will be in trouble again. He said he is not going back now to get another mark on his card for the next school. sorry !!!!! also need to add that he`s not changing schools, he has to got to PRU.pupil referral unit until the end of term then hopefully back to his usual school.. they break up in 4 weeks so he`s not gonna have much time to help him, which means if he goes back to usual school in september he`ll be chucked out again because he hasn`t had enough time at PRU sharon

yes he knows scarlet...., he`s 14 and misses nowt, but it`s also taking over our whole family life unfortunately... but then again we are an open family so everyone knows what to expect i think..no nasty suprises.. this is not something that could be hidden from him anyway, they go to school together usually and have the same friends so it would be impossible to hide it from jordan even if we wanted to.. sharon

Just clarify something , while you are there. Did jordan know there was a plan being arranged for his brother to change school - had you told him about it?

hi sharon, well i think like alot of schools, some teachers leave alot to be desired. slightly off the track, there was a debate on heart radio today about what pupils should wear, also about should they be allowed jewelry etc. a teacher answered his comment was this personally im not looking what a pupil is wearing,i am there to teach, not judge pupils in the latest fashion. NOW THATS A TEACHER. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i just hate it when i`ve waited all week for a phone call and get nothing.. then my older son decides to tell me that the school have told him we know where jamies going etc as the deputy head has phoned to tell me.BUT he has not, don`t know why they have brought jordan into this, maybe in passing conversation they`ve asked abt jamie but i know bugger all and i`ll have no chance with the school until monday, what makes me even madder is they said they would contact me so WHY should i have to get in touch with them...GOD it makes me mad sharon

Sharon....why do you feel you need to find a reason for this, I,m one who things there is often a reason and often not....like terrible twos!! Phone them if they dont phone you...its like they try to avoid the subject....well dont let them ignore you. AND why are they talking to your other son about this matter in school????

Sharon

Sharon Report 22 Jun 2007 19:54

well !!!!!!!! friday is here and still no phone call from anyone. older son told me that the school have told him that we know where jamie is going because i was told.....WRONG... i don`t know whats happening, the lady who phoned through the week said they didn`t know which one he`d be going to and she would phone me with all the details when it was sorted..what`s happened to communication these days, they all seem to be wasting our time, jamie has already lost so much of his education... grannie annie???? how`s things with you luv sharon

Sharon

Sharon Report 18 Jun 2007 22:03

evryone seems to be telling me about punishment ( the school, on-track, camhs) but i`ll be honest ... my kids do get wrong for things and i explain why it`s wrong...but they don`t do much wrong apart from bombsite bedrooms, clothes etc but that is just normal kids things. my older son jordan had problems with bullying as he is soft as muck, which made jamie stick up for him because he`s not soft, this then got him into trouble with school.. jamie is not a bully he just knows how to stick up for himself and his family/ friends..but these past few months it`s been problems with the teachers, i keep trying to think back abt changes etc but cannot work it out, jordan is ok so i dunno where to start, nothing has changed at home so looks like i`m gonna have to do some more digging to find out what and why..it`s hard though cos he`s the normal jamie, not unhappy, depressed.. like i`ve already said he`s like a jekyll and hyde, maybe get him to watch the the programme that`s gonna be on tv next week(joking).. will see what happens this week and go with the flow. thanx for the hugs sharon

yes sharon i did mean the veg thing glad its not that so back to the drawing board

Sharon

Sharon Report 18 Jun 2007 21:49

he`s ok abt his veg cos his mates know abt it....it was one of his mates dog that stood on him and caused this..when we were at the docs he was embarassed and done a lot of giggling, but luckily we are close enough family for him to tell us and let us (well dad) have a look at him, so i don`t think it`s a veg problem!!! just realised, did you mean that problem.!!!!!! it is on his mind as i don`t suppose he wants people playing with his bits and pieces.. hope we are on the same thing here lol sharon

i know that joy, i remember when he had pneumonia, he was only 2 and went into hospital 2 days before xmas and didn`t come ou til after the new year, it was hell at the time but now it`s just a memory.. he`s also got s problem down below now, the doc thinks one of his veg is stuck up in his tube and we are waiting to hear from the hospital, he may need an operation !!!!! so there`s quite a bit going on here but don`t worry the men in white coats won`t get near this place.. sharon
