I did Ann. Enjoyed it. I can only assume we still had plenty of coal as my mother lit a

fire in the bedroom and I was in their bed . Snow on the window ledge inside and a

huge damp patch on the ceiling. Goodness knows what was going on there :-0 :-0

Afraid I disagree. I got fed up with the rain :-( :-(

Mum used to talk of the Winter of 47. Trudging through the streets with the snow piled high on the edge of the pavements. There were fewer cars then.
