	Island….Sometimes life does seem like one big worry or that you are always being tested….then something happens to change the way you see things….well for me it did. Worrying over things takes too much of my energy now <3

	Same here MG….TB…my Dad also contracted TB in 1962 :-( I have a photo of her and I can see Alice in her :-)

	They treated it as a day out in the country from the big smoke and they got paid for it too.....often they would meet up with the same families each year :-D

	Mum's family were very poor. Nan brough up 6 kids on her own, as her husband died in his early thirties. It was a cheap holiday for them. <3

	Island…have never rated him…could not be doing with the screechy voice :-0 Dad remembers hop picking with his sisters….I think he moved from Sheppey to Maidstone when his mother died aged 4….stayed in Maidstone till he moved to Wales aged about 15 :-)
