I had me bedroom windows open last night and next door had a takeaway delivered at 1:40 am :-0 :-S

Also, fireworks going off in the distance at 2ish....I don't think I would have heard them with the windows shut but nevertheless annoying for folk living near them :-| :-| :-P

You’re right, Belle. About twenty minutes ago, the heavens opened. Windows closed, Ann.

Luckily, this morning K cleaned the bbq and tidied away everything left over from last night.

i can’t be bothered to do anything so coffee is on and I am plonked in front of the box looking for something interesting to watch. :-S

You can enlarge the map by clicking on the +/- on the top left of the map. It up dates with lightening strikes every 15 mins with a 'X', it gives you a colour menu on the right hand side of the map as to how many minutes ago the strike hit so you can track which direction the Storm is moving.

If you are looking for rainfall, go to the top of the page and on the right hand side it says 10 day forecast, weather radar, lightening detector and jet stream .....click on weather radar and it will show the rainfall which updates every 5 minutes so you can see which direction the rain is moving and the intensity.
