It was a damp and dull morning for the local children to return to primary school, but the sun is trying it's best to find it's hat now ;-)

Gwyn, when my next door neighbour's daughter got married it was very quiet too I only knew cos they bought me some goodies and there was some ribbon on the car :-D

Not sure if it is different if it is the boys family, was it a girl or boys family in your street?
Lots of people have been complaining on the local Telegram about the noise and chaos.....not a happy bunch of residents, I won't mention some of the comments made:-0 :-( It would appear they had put up road closure signs but they omitted to tell the residents :-|. Also they have left the big firework cake boxes in the street where they were let off :-|. Don't get me started again I was and still am beyond annoyed :-| :-| :-P

Both the son and the daughter of our neighbours have married in recent years.

Both times there were family gatherings at home with special food, to which we and one other set of neighbours too were invited, after the mosque ceremonies, but they were not lavish affairs ( may be because their mother was widowed ? ) - just happy joyful occasions.

They weren't noisy at all.
