One of my doggie walkers has just WhatsApp me to say she has tested positive for Covid yesterday. She traveled on The Tube to work last Tuesday, started to feel unwell on the Friday, raging sore throat on Saturday. Haven't seen her since Saturday but at least it was out in the open air. Just goes to prove it is still around and can make you feel very unwell :-(

Definitely still out there Belle :-0... although I don't know anyone who has it at the moment.
I hope your friend soon recovers.

My 'walking' friend was ultra careful when it was rife and managed to avoid it, but earlier this year went to visit a friend in hospital ( not a Covid ward ) and within a few days had symptoms and tested positive. By then it was difficult to locate new testing kits, but eventually we managed to get a couple and leave them in her porch with some other shopping.

Back to school next week.... The children start this Friday 1st.
Within a few weeks coughs and colds start appearing, while everyone gets used to mixing at close quarters again. Hope covid is not in that mix :-0

Just when you think it is safe to go out … :-(

Up around 5.30 this morning and could not get back to sleep and was breakfasting around 6.30 so I have just got an early lunch as K is off volunteering today. Peshwari Naan, packed with leftover chicken from yesterday’s dinner and coronation chicken with sliced grapes. K would go for a simple chicken sandwich.

We have our flu jabs booked for 23 September. It’s the earliest I have had one but our doc reminded K last week so we booked together.
