Any sign of the wedding festivities at your neighbour's house?

When the daughter of my neighbours married, they had a ceremony at the Mosque, which her mum told me they considered to be 'the marriage', but I don't think that is legally binding.
They had a ceremony with a Registrar later that week.

.....all with delicious food :-D

We had 2 Susans in my class and 2 each of Rosemary, Linda and Jennifer.... all names which are nowadays absent from our local school.

Gwyn, I would think too that the mosque ceremony would be the marriage in the eyes of Islam. I'm sure the daughter said that would be on the 30th at a NW London mosque. No sign of any activity yet though :-0
