Lovely meal yesterday, but I couldn't eat my dessert as I was full, so I have my lemon meringue pie to look forward to ;-)
3 courses and cost of total meal per person was £7.50. :-D :-0

That was a lovely long walkies <3

I hope Fly does well and it's not too hot for her.

Starter was lamb parcels - shredded lamb in filo pastry wrapped into fingers ( a bit like large spring rolls )
There were 2 served with a small salad and rosemary pesto, but having seen how much food there was, I gave one parcel to son, before we started. ;-)

Salmon en croute contained at least twice as much salmon as we normally have for a meal and was served with a dill veloute and broccolli spears and a small amount of potato wedges.
Daughter ordered the meal and was sent an e mail with any instructions needed for heating and pictures of what each course should look like.

Extremely good value and cooked to perfection :-D

Fortunately it is slightly cooler today so hopefully the soldiers won't find the temp as oppressive as at the rehearsal although it is still pretty warm :-0 :-0

Looking forward to the Flypast at 1 as it comes right over my house and by that time they are very low...... it's less than a minute for the jets to get to the Palace from here. The helicopters are the first as they are so much slower and come over about 5-10 mins before 1 :-)

Goodness knows how much that would have cost in a restaurant Gwyn :-0 :-0. Sounds yummy, pleased you enjoyed it :-D

Loved the Trooping The Colour. You have to hand it to Charles being on horseback at his age.

Watched the Red Arrows out of the bedroom window, along with all the other planes. Fantastic.
